Ok, so i cut up the air box last night and slapped in a couple of K&N's. Then i retted to 155 mains because that's what the pats jetting calculator told me to do. I've been getting my money's worth of my D tool and have wound up about 3 turns out and i'm getting less power at all RPM's. Especially the higher rpm's. It seems like it doesn't want to go near red-line. I thought about putting a shim under the needle's, but thought i would ask everyone's advice first. Do i need to try some smaller jets?

If, at full throttle in third, fourth or fifth, you roll off the throttle slightly and you accelerate, then the jet is too large.
Start too rich, and work lean. Use your plugs as your guide, and master the art of the plug chop....shut the throttle as you hit the kill button and pull in the clutch after running the warmed up bike under load for fifteen seconds in the range you are checking, while coasting safely to the side of the road. Pull your plugs and analyse the color.
Start with the mains and work back toward idle.

Try 42 pilots, or 45s, one shim on the needle, and it sounds like you know which direction to go on the mains.

Mine has 155s and it runs perfect. Strong all the way to redline, very strong. Maybe there's a difference between the epcos and predators?

I'd try the 140s, and maybe some 145s, but remember the main is only used at full throttle.

I think you need a shim.

Brent, can you add some shims onto my order? Are the stock thruxton pilots 42? Sweatmachine, i was just wondering if all you had changed was the 155's. I imagine our set-ups are pretty simialar.
Thanks for everyone's help. This is why i love this site!
