Sunday morning 33 degrees....Why ride? Had alot of stress this last week trying to hit goals and dealing with general everyday *****! Went for an hour long ride pushed it to almost 150 and then a couple of wheelies....What I did last week? Hell who cares! Absolutely fantastic ride with my helmet on the tank leggs in and floored! Got back to the house kickstand down..leg over and off the bike...knees shakin and then silance as I relized everything was in sync again....everything was right with the world and am ready to kick as* next week again. Lets ride! sean....

Hope those of us in North America are enjoying the odd December weather and getting some of those ides in. I realize not everyone has the good side of the "odd" weather, but for me it's about 20 deg. F above normal right now.

For those of you in the Northwest....I hope you're all ok, ugly bit of weather up there. I hear 114 + mph winds the other day, strange indeed.

For those of you in the NW USA, with the 100+ mph winds. Couldn't you just push your Speedy into the drive way, head into the wind and just sit there and get a little rush??!!!

I call it "THERAPY"

I love being out on two wheels, and on one about 10% of the time.

+1 Got a break this week, 50 deg! (felt like 40) Rode my longest wheelie ( bout a 100 yards ((I know I know, i'm still learning)) and pulled a few stoppies :-D My wife has now caught on that riding relaxes me, she used to get after me a little for riding and not doing stuff with her, now she urges me to go ride. (Wait a minute, should I be worried about that?? Oh well :-D )

Yeah, except there is always the chance a tree branch will fly over and skewer you. :-x Today was an improvement - dry, and the roads were more debris-free.

I ride just to keep my f'n sanity(believe it or not)! :hammer: As most of ya know, I've been dying because speedy has been tore apart since the last day of Oct. :( Although it's just tear'n me apart, I still have snuck a few hundered miles in on the brother-in-laws superhawk, and just did 200 miles on a friend of mine's FZ1 Saturday. If it wasn't fer friends like that, I would prolly be dead or in a mental institute right now. :hammer: Btw, pulled just as good of a wheelie on the FZ1 as I usually do on speedy, but it is geared 1 down in the front, and up 2 in the rear. :-D

Yea, its been in the mid 40F's here recently in MN. This week it's cooling down though and getting into the 20's. Supposed to be a huge snow storm on Wednesday night. It's still wierd to me not seeing any snow at this time of the year.
