I've been looking at lever replacements for my TBS. I think the look of some yellow / gold ones will suit the look of my bike + a little less resistance would be nice. I'm undecided between shorties and regular length. I've found these online: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Triumph-TIGER-1050-2007-2009-2010-2011-Black-Red-Brake-Clutch-Levers-/290794671134?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43b4b68c1e&vxp=mtr

but I'm unsure whether or not they'll fit. I'd go for CRG if I had the $$$, but $100 per is out of the question.

1) Is there a special fit for the TBS? Or will levers made for the Bonnie / Thruxton fit?

2) Can anyone recommend an affordable set of levers?

Thank you!

@Geoffe, The levers from the second link I provided match the 1999-2007 Kawasaki ZRX 1100/1200. Pazzoracing's ZRX compatible set is part no. F14/C777 - the same as you mentioned would fit the TBS. I assume this translates to other manufacturers as well. What do you think?

$40 for the pair shipped sounds a whole lot better than $200.

@slinky, thoughts?

The first ebay link lists a whole bunch of different Triumphs that the levers fit, some of those bikes have cable clutches and some hydraulic, so the list makes no sense (unless I am missing something).

The levers in the second link are definitely for a cable operated clutch. It may just be a sample pic, not indicative of the actual levers for sale. It's worth checking.

The full model list on these includes both the Daytona 955i and ZX1100, so they should have a set that works... Chinese made, but cheap enough to take a chance.

Thanks, but I think the 'knife blade' thing is corny as hell. Are you saying that levers allegedly fitting the Daytona 955 and the ZX1100 will fit the TBS?

Dunno about the Daytona, but the zx1100 levers are supposed to bolt up. I haven't tried them yet, so I'm just going by whet I have read here.

If the TBS is like the Legend, then the ZX1100 definitely work. So do the ZX7, ZX9, among others. I bought these: http://item.ebay.com/330818396142

They fit fine except for the clutch lever (at least in my case). I had to flatten the outside of the opening because it was making contact as I pulled the lever in. My stock Triumph lever was flat instead of round. If none of that makes sense, it will once you get a set. Maybe you won't have to modify them, but if you have a table grinder it won't be a problem.
