I need a new ignition switch for a 2000 thunderbird. triumph part is very high priced, any after market replacements?

Dunno about aftermarket ones mate but the genuine article cost me 420 AUD. Couldnt find an aftermarket one with the correct circuits.

nigel- I have a 00' T-bird. I'm thinking is better serving as a parts bike currently. I can get you the Ign Switch off of it, which is working as we speak. As it is a used part, i can't guarantee it's life. however the bike has 10k on it....so let me know if this would work for you. I can probably work something up later as i'm an electrician and want the bike the run later.
