It took me literally months of searching to find the ones that made me go OOOH ! All anyone here can tell you is how they work....vibration, field of view. They can't tell you you'll think they look good.Mine are bad at both, but they look so freakin good to me i hadda have em. And i got used to them and love em now. But realize that whetever you get there is a very good chance they will vibrate and become blurry to some degree more than the stock ones which are clear as a bell. How much they do is something you'll either have to chance or buy ones that others have bought and and say work well even tho you may have to settle for a look thats not quite what you'd hoped for. You can see mine in the pic linked in my signature.

Ditto Daz-

There is a trade off, as in all things...

In the case of mirrors, it is what you think looks good, versus clarity, vibration, field of vision, etc.

While I'm not saying you're on your own here... actually, I'm saying you're kinda on your own here.

Hey Pacfish,
I put these on my America about a year ago.....got them from a member at ba.com.
Yes, they are smaller than the originals but you get used to what you have.....or not.
I think they have the best "look" for my setup.

Same here. That is, same mirrors are golfer. However, just in case you happen to like them, don't buy them at that classiccruiser site. Get them here because they are 1/2 the price. Scroll to the bottom and there are 2 versions of them. They have either gold or black flames on the back. I had both....the black look much better. The gold look like harley mirrors and in fact i ruined mine trying to polish the gold off. The $68 ones are the black ones second from the bottom of the page and the gold are at the very bottom for $75. It's the cheapest by far i've seen them anywhere.

ssjones,

can you tell me whether you have much of a vibration problem compared to stock. It appears this is a problem when changing over for some and I personally would rather have mirrors without vibration and distortion. Also, would I be right in presuming the field of vision is a fair bit better than the stock round ones and also they do just screw straight into the existing holders don't they?

Daz- Thanks for providing the correct link! I knew that classiccruiser was not the right site, but couldn't remember the texas site.

For all your guys info: You can use the stock stems and just about ANY metric mirror will just screw right on them. I am currently using some Yamaha mirrors and they are far superior to the Kuryakin and stock mirrors. Clear as day and much larger.
I tried the mirrors from my wife's Magna and they also fit just fine. So, basically any Honda/Yammer/Suzuki/Kaw mirror will work on the stock stems.

Ditto what Pat said... $10 bucks for V-Max mirrors & they sure beat the Mickey Mouse ears that the Brits put on these bikes
