Hello All!
Does anyone have any knowledge of after market adjustable on the fly rear air shocks? I was in a local cycle shop this week and the owner had one installed on his GSXR1000. He said it was great and installed was $1000USD. It sure looked sweet to me! I have been giving serious consideration to the Penske 8987 which is close to that price as well. I ran a google search and only found limited information most of it related to cruisers.
Thanks!

The best combination I have seen for your bike can be found on www.triumphnet.com which is a Sprint ST/RS website. The combo uses Race Tech springs and Gold Valve cartridge emulators. Look under accesories in 99-04 ST ; then suspension , and click on Race Tech. Rode an RS once with this setup and WOW what a difference it made. Ran him less than a grand installed too. Hope this helps!!! KEO

Thanks for the reply Keo.
For the forks I am going to start with the mod discussed in this forum where you cut the progressive part of the spring and use a large spacer and change the oil to 10w, then down the road look into the Gold Valve.

My air shock question pertains to the rear shock. Infinitely adjustable on the fly. I ride many different setups (one up, one up with luggage, two up, two up with luggage) and am looking for the most adjust ability for my dollar (or thousand as the case may be!) The ability to do it on the fly would be SWEET!! :-D
I am attempting to determine the pro's and con's. What the service intervals are and how the bike handles with them.
:???:
Thanks again!
