I got a letter from the local Triumph dealer "PETER STEVENS" for a replacement of the fuel couplings last week. I got them replaced today.
It just seemed a bit wierd since my bike is a 99 model and has 34000 Kms on it. I think its a bit too late. It had 34000 kms to result in a "loss of control of the motorcycle".

Just hope they put some proper ones this time.

I got the recall notice last year after I'd replaced mine with metal ones. I asked if they would give me the money instead, and they refused. Cheap Fooks.

Yes, it's very easy, if you're at all mechanically inclined. You can get the metal ones from the shop at t595.net, or from www.rideteamtriumph.com. If you get the fittings, post up or email me, and I'll send you instructions.
