Is the 595 have the same upper fairing as the 955? I'm looking at a 97 595 upper on ebay and need to know if it will fit my 01 955. Thanks.

Can't answer from experience, but Bike Bandit has parts online that you could probably compare and if you can't get your answer there call a dealer. Link below, have to copy and paste though

Yeah, I tried that but you have to know the vin number to know whether it would work or not. Go figure?? :???:

There was a full set from a 595 that a guy was selling about a month ago, he had fitted it to a 955 as he said he prfered the look and also said the only thing he had to alter was the bellypan area,as the 955 is wider in that area, dont know for sure but from that I would say the rest should just bolt on. Hope this helps.

Did you try emailing the ebay seller and asking if he knows the vin? Sometimes parts are from an owners own wreck or if it's from a dealer they sometimes keep vin numbers for records especially if they are selling the frame and motor.

Actually, I'm going to take my damaged upper to my body shop guy and see if he can graft a piece of plastic I have that came off my Ducati 748. This should be interesting. :hammer:

All the body panels are the same from 97-01. Only difference is colors and graphics.
