Just wondering about replacing the rubber donut mount at the bottom of the tanks center hole.
I had to push the old one out but the new one doesn't completely seat so that it stays in. What's the procedure?
thanks

you can get replacements from www.domiracer.com and www.northerneagle.ca

It's pretty simple from there. Dig out the old and install the new. Well worth it, did it myself recently, I think I got mine from Domiracer.

Remove the rubber plug covering tank mount hole, undo the nut, pull that out. Depending on decay you can then use a piece of wire (say romex) or a pick to pull out the old rubber/washer set up. If that fails unbolt the strap on the bottom of the tank, undo the fuel lines and lift the tank off the frame. Once off, digging out the rubber is easy. Pull off the rubber washers and place them with your new one. Put the tank back on carefully, and redo the lines and strap, then insert the new rubber and tighten the bolt back down.
