Cases finally split. Next step is removing bearings and bushings, and then I think finally ready for blasting.....

Risking telling you something you know already, if you can, cases in the oven for half-an-hour, 150-ish degrees (Centigrade), the bearings should drop out.

If doing it in the kitchen, allow time for resulting stink to disperse ...

Yes, I have seen where others have used an outdoor grill, but I was planning on using the oven. My wife is out of town next weekend, so that is when it will happen....
