Time to dust the cobwebs off my old '69 Tiger. It hasn't been run for about six months.Started first kick but it's running a little rough. As a bench mark, can anyone tell me how many turns out I should be setting the mixture screw?I know every bike is different but it's just something to work from as I had a bit of trouble with the mixture last year.

1.5 from full in should be a good start.

Needle clip in the middle position. Once it's warmed up, if it bogs when you open the throttle, try lowering the needle (raising the clip to the top position).

easy way to set 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 should start up

after warmed up unscrew slowly 1/8 screw at time until rpm start to drop.

then screw same as above in until engine speed falters. write down how many screw this was and divide by 2 and unscrew this many.

i count each screw as 1 screw = to each 1/8 of a turn to make math easy
