The engine is done and back in the frame.

Been working on polishing up the spokes. Front wheel is done, just starting on the back. Carburetors are next on the list.

OK, so I took a little time off of my restoration. I had put the bike back together and got tired of getting to a point where I would consider firing it over just before cold weather so I took a few years off. Yesterday I finally kicked it over and it fired right up. Still need to do a little fine timing but great progress. Now the detail work needs to begin. New seat, new rear fender, tank and fender paint, etc. Firing it over was a major accomplishment. I may need sources for detail parts (tank trim), seat and silencers.

Just an update on my restoration. Engine runs, lights working. Today I took the tank and fenders to Precision Motorcycle Painting. Expecting good things. Mad Dogs and Englishmen here we come!

Well, it's done. I have assembled the tank and fenders. Now I just need to wait for spring to add a couple decals and a few final details. Long project but I am pleased with the outcome.
