You people who live in colder climates, like I do, need to be ever mindful of pulling off the occasional "wildcat". Basically, that's an extemporaneous decision whereby you say to yourself and a few friends, "I ain't going to work today...too nice outside" and you call in sick. Your company will still be there when you return to work tomorrow and if you job isn't lets face it you were probably on thin ice anyway.

I'm up for a NJ ride... Saturday would probably be best. I'm in Bergen County, so not too far South but far enough to get out of the hell that is known as Paramus/Hackensack

50-60 degrees here Thursday and Friday. I dragged the Sprint out of the garage and rode to work both days. Couldn't call in sick cuz I'm the boss. Woke up to 6" of fresh snow today. :(

And to think that I cashed in my plates after Thanksgiving because it was getting too cold to ride.

Y'know, there's a lot to be said for global warming....

Hey guys - sorry I haven't been online in a while. I did get out for some short rides this weekend. My wife gave birth to our first son this morning - Christian James Vander Groef. I might not be doing too much riding in the near future.

It's cold here in effin Kalifornia. Ah well. It'll warm up soon. Congratulations on your son's birth, Drift. We had one of those a few months ago and it's pretty awesome.

Without calling up GoogleMap, is it a fair guess that you're close to Logan Utah? I rode there in late June of 2005, and it was still colder than a welldigger's a**. Have to admit, however, it was absolutely beautiful!

HA!

I just got back yesterday from visiting my Dad in Philly. I read this post before leaving on Saturday and had my hopes up. It was freezing there. I wanted to borrow his Harley for a little ride through the country side but at 8:00 AM it was in the low 30's. (So I took the Ford instead) :)
