OK, I've tried looking up the old threads on the forum but can't find one that helps. maybe i missed it?
Anyway! Went out last night on the bike and she rode like a champ, no problems. Went to take a ride earlier today to run some errands and she wouldn't start. Turn the key, lights come on, fuel pump sounds, I hit the button... cranks but won't turn over. Kept trying for few before giving up and plugging it in to the trickle charger I have in my garage. Came back a couple hours laters to a fully charged battery and tried again. Same thing... cranks, won't start. Ive tried it in neutral with kickstand down and up, in gear with the kick stand up. Even tried to jump start it with my truck (no, the truck was not on).
Bought the battery last spring, though it seems its not a battery issue.
Fueled it up last a few days ago and ran great last night, so not a fuel issue either.
What am I missing? any ideas??

Did the magnet fall off the frame that engages with the side stand?

I don't think it would turn over if that was the case, and as long as your bikes in neutral it wouldn't matter, presume the neutral lights on?

If you are 100% confident in the battery or you've tried it with your truck battery connected then it could be the CPS.

Dumb stuff. Pull the clutch in when you hit the starter. Kill switch not in the run position? (Magnet is for the water-cooled models.)

PS. Fuel can still be sketchy BTW. Will run to get home but no start the next day. Seen that. May not apply here of course.

Update...

YES... In neutral, neutral light is on, clutch is engaged, kill switch is on run position (or else nothing would turn on), battery fully charged.
No recent electrical work done on it except for an LED bulb upgrade for the headlight 2 years ago and Denali Soundbomb airhorn 3 years ago.
Checked all my fuses, and did a spark test - NO spark, ***?

Towed it to a shop this morning. Let's see what they find.

a crank but no start condition will always be a lack of spark of a lack of fuel. Lack of fuel is easy to check, but a little messy. Just remove the fuel line from the fuel rail, turn the vehicle or bike on the fuel pump should prime and some fuel should come out, then crank it over and more fuel should come out. If non of that happens you have a fueling issue. For spark you can buy an inline spark tester or get a scree driver and stick it in the plug wire and put the screw driver close to something metal like a part of the engine, valve cover, a metal bench so when electricity goes through it it will arch and give you a visual that yes or no you have spark and can continue your diagnosis.

There was no spark in post 6?

Well, the problem has been found. Ordering up a new crankshaft position sensor and clutch cover gasket. Hopefully it's in soon so I can enjoy the last few days of fall before it gets way too cold to ride.

There was no spark in post 6?
