Hey all, luvvin my 2011 Thruxton! Question tho:

Looks like steering head bearing adjustment requires top triple clamp removal - correct?

Any tips... appreciated too, cheers 🙂

PS: 7500 miles on it, I can feel a slight slop and a "knock" in headstock when braking and over some road bumps... in some situations. Am pretty damn sure it's loose head bearings, I'll raise the front end, adjust, and even replace them if I have to.

Very easy process with the correct tools.

Don't discount the slew of connectors jumping around in the headlight bucket, too. Not saying you're feeling something that's not there, but it's worth isolating so your mind doesn't play tricks on you.

Just yesterday I remembered that I still have a pair of skinny wrenches for exactly this job. PM me if interested.
