Hello All !

I currently am riding my 2003 Triumph SM.

I have an opportunity to acquire a black, 2002 TT600.

Does anyone know if this model was produced before or after the great fire ?

Does anyone recommend this bike ?

If it's an 02 it was probably pre-fire.

Triumph had a huge fire in one of their plants in March 2002. Bad things happened and they had to retool a lot of stuff. I think the TT600 was specifically affected iirc. Like B02S4 says, this bike is probably pre-fire. only way to know for sure is to get the build date off the sticker on the head.

NOT to worry. I have one as well (also black). Not sure if it was pre or post, can't imagine why that would matter. I have about 10K on mine and beyond the 3000rpm glurp it's been great and takes the twisties like no other. A little slow on the take off, but i'm not racing anyways.
You won't be disappointed.
