I test road the Legend today, and it ran great. The thing I didn't like was the seating position. I'm 6'1" and felt like my knees where in my chest. I used to own an America and it didn't feel that way. Is there anything that can be done to change this? Surely all of you that ride these aren't midgets. Not that there's anything wrong with midgets.:D

yes, swap to a late Tbird seat and suspension dogbones that will bring up the seat height (seat will increase distance to pegs too). also swap out the rear shock for a Tbird or Kawa unit.

I'm going to show my ignorance here. What is a suspension dog bone? Is that what the rear shocks bolt to, and is it a bolt on item, or is there welding required? Thanks.

No, we are all midgets here, sorry no one told you!

Rode an America once, did not like the forward controls at all... reach was too far. The Legend was developed for vertically challenged riders. Best to find a T-Bird or better yet, a TBS...
