Hi all i have just bought a Sprint 900 with a starter clutch fault ,what sort of job is it to fix,i am a Mechanic ,but not sure what is involved in this fix,are there special tools needed?.

Cases need to be split to get at it, unless it's a very early motor. (I think it needs cases split if it's new enough to be a Sprint 900 instead of a Trident Sprint.) I can't think of any special tools off the top of my head, mostly metric hex & Torx bits...

I just replied on your other thread, didn't see this one.

You are a mechanic so you will do this job standing on your head!
Once done, use a good battery and keep it on a battery tender. the sprag doesn't like trying to operate on a weak battery.
