Parts showed up this weekend so I put the bike back together on Sunday. With the new push rod tube top o-ring the leak has stopped (no other changes to bottom seals/gaskets, just a different supplier for the o-ring).

Now working on tuning it up, I already have the clip on the bottom (richer) groove, and even with the idle jet screw only 1-1/2 turns out it still seems very lean. It was a bit cool this weekend so I didn't spend as much time as I wanted to get it running well. Idle is fine, but I get popping / backfiring on partial or steady throttle. Timing is set per spec, plugs are basically new. I'm pretty sure the fuel is good but I'll get some fresh fuel in before the next round of tuning.

The list of things left to do is getting pretty small - looks like a leak from the top of the rear brake master cylinder, I'm repainting the side panels black, the seat needs new foam, and then I need to go around and touch up a few spots on the frame.

I haven't updated in a while, everything is pretty much back together. I'm still deciding on the seat and the tank badges are missing in this picture but otherwise everything is repaired, repainted, replated, or replaced. I've put about 25 miles on so far, hopefully some decent weather this weekend to put some more on. Almost decided on what to do for the seat, letting my credit card cool off after Christmas fun!

I decided to re-foam the seat with some leftover from another (car) project and see how it came out. Still a bit more tweaking needed to take out the wrinkles but I ran out of time. Definitely much better than the foam that was on there - it doesn't immediately sink so I'm sitting on the seat pan. I haven't taken it out for a longer ride yet but I'm optimistic it will work.

There are a few scratches on the frame to touch up but at this point I'm feeling like I can call it "done" and move on to the riding part of ownership!
