I need a bit of help from anyone with a 76 or 77 bonny. I redid my bike over the winter and due to an oversight I am not totally sure where the wider spacers should be placed. I put both of them (top
and bottom) on the right-hand side (when seated on the bike) but the motor looks too close to the left down tube. I tried the wider spacer on the left but I had to really put a lot of stress on the motor mount to get it to fit that way (with the bottom wider spacer still on the right). My parts book seems to indicate that they should be on opposite sides but I would really appreciate some feedback before I finish off the rebuild.

cheers, John

My factory manual (T140 and TR7 up to 1978) states both the wider spacers goes on the right hand side (points side). This is how I have them fitted on my 1977 TR7v.
