My 1974 T120 has Left, and Right Lucas 169SA handlebar
switch's. The left one is a 3 way toggle with two push
buttons above and below the Toggle. The right switch has
a 3 way toggle with the up spring loaded, center, and down.
There are 2 push button switches above and below this
toggle as well. I think I know what the left hand 169SA is
for, but I'll be damed if I can figure out what the right hand 169SA does.
Q.Can the right toggle switch be a "Kill Switch"? I haven't
got my manual yet, and I've been unable to start the thing

You have encountered the interesting consequence of having one part for two uses. Saves money for Lucas, but causes confusion. The die cast switch cover is used on both sides, but one of the buttons is blanked. You will have passing hi beam (if I remember correctly), kill, horn, and a blank.
The left toggle is the turn signal and the right toggle is the hi/lo beam.

Thank you very much. My initial thought was that
the right toggle switch was down for off, middle for on,
and Up(spring load), for a future electric starter. From
your information I was able to persist and the thing
finally started.
Thanks again...
