Hello,

I've made the LED (SuperNova) swap on my Thruxton and am running into the same issue others have. I'm planning to swap the relay out for this 3-prong version (https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...f13gl-02-led-bulb-electronic-flasher/782/836/) as my current flasher relay has 3-prongs. This should fix the flasher part, but I have a question on the stock indicator bulb/diode fix many have suggested. Wouldn't it be easier/better to replace that bulb with another LED instead of installing the dual parallel diodes? If ultimately we want brighter lights that draw less power, wouldn't the LED be the way to go? Or is there not one available? Or am I way off base and need to score another cup of coffee?

Many thanks!

You don't need the diode mod for your '12.
But even for the earlier models, you cannot do as you suggest and simply change the Indicator lamp for an LED; the issue is that the Indicator is connected between the right & left signals and only works if you have incandescents in all three locations.
I explained this previously in this post - http://www.triumphrat.net/air-coole...bellacorse-led-flasher-relay.html#post2388750

On those early models, after the diode mod is done, you can use either incandescent or LED for the indicator lamp as desired

Thanks for the response! The new flasher/relay arrives Monday and I'm anxious to get it in and see what happens.
