I just played aroud with mine till it worked for me.

1 is for long fingers 4 is for short. I ride on 4 as I prefer the closer grip as I ALWAYS cover the brake and this means less of a stretch.

note: don't get it in an "inbetween" setting this does not lock the adjuster in position and means the thing could vibrate to a different setting under braking. The possible consequences make me shudder :knkknk:

remember to change the setting you press the lever away from the grip then dial it, then set it back into place and test the pull distance. Mine makes a big difference, worked great when my brakes were a bit soggy I could give more pull and make them work better for me. Scheduled in for the new 5/8 master cylinder though and the drag bolt.
