I think that I may have wrecked the cylindrical tightening washer on my mirror by adjusting it without first loosening the end bolt in the handlebars. It has flattened out the grooves and now the mirror is always loose. I may have re installed the parts incorrectly. Does anyone have a parts diagram for 09 Thruxton mirror assembly or a link? Thanks

Hate to see you go without a response, there Rowan, but maybe because no one can answer. 2009 is too new for Bike Bandit to offer schematics, and I am thinking a mirror diagram would not be made anyway.
Probably your best bet it to take the deformed piece and go to an auto parts store and find something that will work. Improvise!

Mirrors fixed

Thanks Davidc. I have improvised by shimming up with a piece of aluminium beer can. Mirrors are a lot firmer now.
