Bike has 13k miles on it

It started after i road home in the rain for about 10 minutes and later that night i moved it and noticed how hard it was to push while in 1st gear when clutch was pulled in but was easy when in neutral

What I have done...
1. lubed and adjusted clutch cable
2. checked oil level and its on the money

Still does this when bike has warmed up

i could try and replace clutch cable, but dont know if its bad...
would also need to know where i could get a NEW cable, i am not near a dealer. Want to get the right size if there is a "size"

Thanks your for your help

what happens when you put it in gear ? and no gas no brakes
does it start to creep forward ?
how old is the oil ?
Did you adjust the cable at the motor first and then at the lever ?

Q: what happens when you put it in gear ? and no gas no brakes
A: it stalls instantly

Q: how old is the oil ?
A: 1k miles and replaced filter with oil

Q: Did you adjust the cable at the motor first and then at the lever ?
A: yes and i gave the clutch lever a dime worth of play

i even adjust it all the way so the clutch would be slipping but there was still drag, im guessing there most be something in side causing it. i think im going to change oil next and see what happens.

mine didn't get that bad
but the fix for it is to take apart the clutch, clean the plates with a toothbrush
soak the plates in clean oil over night, and put it back together
i've been problem free for 10k+ miles since i did this
