Does anyone know if the 955i out of a 05 sprint will work in my 02 Tiger without much alterations? :???:

Sorry...it's a 2003 Sprint 955i.

It should bolt right up, do you have the computer also? There will be some differences in the tune, the sprint runs a little hotter cams so it changes the power curve a bit. The shift cam can be swapped but it involves splitting the engine cases. I bought a crashed 02 Sprint RS thinking of swapping the engine into my Tiger, but decided to fix the RS instead. I still need to do the top end my Tiger it is getting a little week and using some oil.

I've found a 03 sprint 955i with 6000 miles that has the computer and wireing and throttle bodies and starter. Do you think I need to get the computer and other stuff or can I use the ones off my old motor? it would cost about $800 more for the computer and wireing and throttle bodies and starter.
