Good Afternoon everyone.

I'm Pat.
I'm in Montreal, Canada.
My first bike was a 1977 R80, which I took mostly apart a few times to keep her going. After 6 years, I decided I wanted to ride more than wrench so I sold her for 1000$ and got me a Moto-Guzzi V11 sport.
that was a blast!
But after 3 years of it, I decided I wanted a bit more comfort as I was getting too freakin'old for clip-ons...

So last yer I traded the goose for an 01 Tiger 955i

Love it.

I've been doing various maintenance and upkeep and figured this would be a good place to get valuable info and support when needed, so there I am.

I would love to have a V11 Sport! It is the Guzzi I desire the most. Although the new Eldorado is beautiful...

Browse the site and join the banter!

Cheers!

The V11 Sport was the most beautiful bike I'd ever seen when I go it.
Felt like riding on rails, "knee to the ground in turns" type of confidence inspiring. Easy to work on, rock solid engine.
And that sound... like a 60's muscle car...

My wrists just couldn't handle the daily commute in traffic anymore though.

I understand. If I did get one, it would be one of several. I would not want it to be my daily rider. My Speed Triple is far more forgiving of my age and physical limitations than a full on sportbike would be.
