Hello to all single track addicts

I have been riding motorcycles since about 1969 and the thrill of living on the edge is still there. There is a lot of fun to be had while still being reasonably careful.
I quit riding for about 15 years to take up sailing and rag top cars and thought I was over riding...until I saw a Thruxton. I had to have it so when I found a new 2014 with a tempting price tag at an obviously great dealer, I signed the papers and took it home.
It took me awhile to get used to riding again. It is amazing how rusty I became over the years but I am feeling at home again and enjoying the other riders I am discovering. I am glad to be back.
I do not race around anymore but spirited riding is okay. I like things clean and shiny and I am considering a belt final drive system.
Any thoughts? Does Triumph offer any for the Thruxton?

Welcome to the forum!

The Thruxton is one sexy motorcycle! I am considering buying one for my daughter's first real motorcycle. You know, so I can have one around to ride...

The Twin Talk forum is where you will find information, opinions, and conversations about the Bonneville models.

The Club Café forum will also have much about the Thruxton. And some great photos of nicely modified Thruxtons.

Enjoy your Triumph!

Cheers!
