Just ordered an Ace Cafe! Help!

Hello All!

I just ordered an Ace Cafe! Yes I know this question has been asked to death.

However, I ordered the bike and was told to custom fit Hagon shocks to my inseam which is 29" on a good day. Hagon says not to lower because this will greatly affect the turn radius. I figured I would also lower the front forks .5 inch.

I was also suggested to just simply order RK Excel wheels to match the Bonnie Mag Wheel.

Any suggestions?! Please help the only reason I purchase this bike was because I was told I could make it fit my 5'3" height! Thanks!!

Welcome. I don't get why you need to lower the Thruxton. I had a '05, I'm a bit under 5'9", but my inseam is about 28.5". I wear regular motorcycle boots that do not have tall heels. I'm basically flat footed with the stock length shocks. I can't imagine that you would have a need unless the new Thruxtons are taller than my older one.
