Hello from South Carolina USA

I'm Tim from Pelzer South Carolina USA. Not a Triumph owner yet,but will be looking at a 2007 Triumph America tomorrow afternoon. First British Bike for me. Will ask what to look at, and look out for. Sold a 1966 Honda Dream and 1973 Honda CB450 for some cash flow. So off I go.

Welcome to the forum!

I am not familiar with the America or any of the Bonneville models but I do know they have quite the following here. It is best to research the cruiser section for issues current members are having and how they addressed them.

Cheers!

Welcome! Try Irishguy...he has plenty of experience with both bikes. I've mostly been a "Tripler" but also like the twins. Looks like you're not too far from the hills, so suspension will also be a consideration. Do a search in the forums for bonnie suspension mods, you should find a few.

You are right about the hills, about 45 min's from the driveway.
From Nebraska (Land of Straight Roads) many years ago.Since
moving to the Carolina's with rarely a straight road and hills to the
north I finally learned how to ride a motorcycle
