morning fellas

Morning all,
my name is Dave and I'm going to jump right in as time is a little precious at the moment. Due to certain surcumstances I've had to activate my bucket list a little earlier than planed....in the top five of that list is to build my own cafe racer. I've just purchased a 1996 Triumph Trident Sprint 885,not in the best of conditions I may add, unstarted for a number of years and with the top end dismantled. Was hoping to get an insite to parts that'll fit and adjustments that may need to take place. I live in Sth Wales UK,Gods holiday home.I'm 52 and full of enthusiasm. Would love to hear from anyone who's done this conversion to help ease the direction I'm going.........Cheers guys ...Dave.

Welcome to the forum, can't answer your questions about restore, rebuilding your trident - never done anything like that. I'm 67 and ride a rice burner, but would like to own a Triumph. Someday, if life allows.
