Hi there, small question inside

I am new here and according to the FAQ I have to have 25 posts to access the classifieds. I have done a lot of research on the scrambler which is what im trying to buy and dont know how to reach 25 posts without just adding bloat to threads. Any ideas?

Im completely new to motorcycles so I dont have much advice but have read enough to not really have questions yet...

Hi K

It isn't all about giving people advice - it is often about finding out stuff or just participating

1. try joining in the general discussion threads (eg twins talk or BHO).

2. have a look at long running threads (eg in rider safety) to see if you can contribute or ask suitable questions that will help you.

3. ask specific questions that are relevant to what you want to do with the scrambler or about riding in general (ie *use* the knowledge available here)

eg one great question and thread starter in either BHO or twin talk would be... "I'm completely new to motorcycles - what do you think I need to know?"

How about "what are common mistakes for people starting out"

even "what have you learnt about the scrambler thet you wished you'd known before you bought it?"

Welcome to the forum Kweisen, I'm new here too. Just wanting more information, etc. Good luck on finding the bike you want. I'm riding what I got for now, wanting a Triumph when "She who must be obeyed", (sometimes) gives in to my whining.

Pretty safe to say, she is not on any forums. Been married forty-three years to the same woman, probably thinks she knows me better than she thinks I know myself. Ha! Shocked the socks off her when I bought a motorcycle after almost forty years of marriage. It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission.
