Hello everyone, first time Triumph owner (I chose a GS750 over a Bonneville in '78 and regretted it ever since).
I buy insurance wrecks from time to time, usually Jeeps and pop up campers...
Well, a 2010 Bonneville SR fell into my lap this week.
I somehow got it for a low $2,300, already bought all the repair parts for only $400.
My speedo is crashed, most of the guts are still good, but I can't justify spending over $400 for new, OEM parts (all the other stuff is OEM), so I found a used 2009 Bonneville speedo (not an SE) on Ebay and bought it with the intention of swapping guts.
But...and here's where I need you experts...I need to remove the speedo needle. It doesn't seem to want to come off, and I don't want to muscle it too much.
So, how does it come off??
