Greetings from NC

New member, first post.

New owner of 2001 Sprint ST in central NC, USA. Starting to ride again after 20-odd year hiatus. Looking forward to rides in the NC mountains and beyond.

1973 500 twin

maybe off subject but only place i could find a reply button! not computer savvy. please help with guidance. I have a 1966 T100 with a 1973 tr5t 500 motor. Had monobloc carb on it and ran several vintage races with it but the carb started leaking everywhere so i put a new amal concentric 626 on, its sarts easier and runs smoother but i have a issue about 3/4 throttle on. if at that time i fool with the choke it clears up but have to return choke when at low speed. I have gone from 170 main to 200 and not much difference. airscrew at 2 1/2 out fresh engine with about 6 hours on it. points good,valves correct and timing good. any suggestions.
