New from the Old Dominion

Virginia in other words....

I'm a pretty new rider in a middle aged body. I have a 2001 Bonneville that I have been riding daily, (minus hurricanes and earthquakes), and learning the basics of how it works and how to ride safely. Having a blast and enjoying both the riding and basic mechanics of it all.

Looking forward to reading and participating in the threads. Hope you don't mind questions!!

Just bought my first bike, 2012 Thruxton. I've never ridden but always wanted to so I figured I might as well start somewhere and I'm loving every bit of it!

Old dominion - my girlfriend went to odu ( if you are familiar with the hampton roads area) . I used to live in virginia beach as well. Not as conducive to riding as sunny socal, however : )

Welcome and best regards to you

Thanks Otvali...I'm in NOVA area just outside DC. There are some nice places to ride if you get out a bit but traffic is horrendous for the most part.

Love SoCal. I have a brother in 1000 Oaks and friends scattered across L.A. Would be quite a ride to come and visit!
