Welcome! Where are you located? Are you riding another brand of bike now?

I'm in Socal and I had an SV650S until recently, bit of an accident.

Yeah I'm fine. Low-sided on a turn, bike slid into an island and was totaled. Leather jacket took the brunt of the slide saved my arm from wrist to shoulder. So wear those jackets.

So wear those jackets.

Great advice, won't leave home without one, now I'm looking for lower body protection, want to protect that to.

Love my Triumph, go for it, they are great bikes!
Welcome!

I switched to a hybrid jacket for summer riding (leather sleeves and shoulders) but have a textile jacket for cold weather. Leather is probably safer.

Just need to come up with some cash for a leather jacket and some type of lower body protection. Tuff to find a leather jacket in a bright color, I like to be seen!

Leather is better, but you already know that!

How 'bout a Hi-Vis Military Spec vest over a black leather jacket? Triumph makes a vest that is very nice.

As far as leggings go, I have Icon ACR and they're decent.
