Newby making an offer on a Triumph tomorrow

Hi everyone,

I'm glad that I found this forum. Tomorrow I'm making an offer on a 2004 Sprint RS with a salvage title that I hope is not a lemon.

Your advice on my potential purchase is GREATLY appreciated.

I will post my potential buy on the General portion of the Forum.

I hope that if it all works out a a couple of weeks I'll be riding a Triumph.

Cheers,
Miguel

Welcome! Good luck with the RS! Check out the Sprint forum too. It's under the Sport and Touring section.

I just joined the family with a 2001 Sprint ST last week. Drove hundreds of miles to get it without even seeing one in person - sounds crazy, but best thing I've done since I started riding. I wish you the best, I personally am just nervous about a salvage title - need to know exactly what happened, who did the work, etc. I would be worried about trusting my life with a questionable machine at 90-100mph.

Don't pay too much, because you can find used Sprints with clear titles very reasonably priced.

Check craigslist.

FCR-39 Carbs, Sprint Cams, British Customs Predator Exhaust, K&N Pod Filters, Nology Coils, Ignitech Ignitor, Progressive Fork Springs, ZX-6R shock, and one bad ass Horn Cover!
