Welcome to the site. There is a plethera of knowledge in here. That is one thing I have learned.
Stick with the Triumphs buddy!!!!! (Nortons are acceptable and encouraged on my end at least)

thanks for the welcome!

...actually i've been lurking for quite a while now--there IS a lot of great info here...didn't realize that i had to post in the welcome center to make things official...

ooohh, norton...hmmm....that or an older triumph scrambler would be sweet as a resto project...which is the only thing missing right now for me in motorbikeland....but that would require some space....there's great inspiration on bikeexif.com.

that said, there's nothing sweeter than the sound of the street triple. holy crap.

Or a swarm of angry Daytonas and a Speed Triple with high performance low restriction mufflers doing about 110 mph over the New Mexico mountains.

Not that I'd know what that sounds like...
