Talking Happy Holidaze

Greetings from beautiful East Tennessee! I recently acquired a 2002 TT1200. I have been riding for almost 50 years and this bike fits me better than any of my others. It is a handful for 2 up riding, but solo, it is great. Puts a big grin on my face every time I ride. Glad to be a part of the community and this Rat net.

Sunny and bright

Thanks, today was gorgeous and I rode for a couple of hours. It has been in the teens with snow and ice but we got a break for a couple of days. Here in East Tennessee it is hills, mountains and lots of curves. The Tale of the Dragon and the Great Smoky Mountains are popular attractions, however there are numerous routes for any type rider. What is Nevada like this time of year?

I'd love to ride in Tennessee. It looks like amazing terrain.

I live in the mountains where winters are typically snowy. This year it's all been rain so far. The roads are 2-lane and straight except when going over the mountain passes. It's boring riding compared to where you are, I'm sure. Desert riding, however, is pretty amazing.

If you ever get the chance to visit, it will be worth your while. There are a couple of motorcycle only campgrounds I know of and lots of state and national parks if you camp.
