Hello from Nevada

Getting back into riding after years away... Looking at a 2008 Sprint ST or a 2001 Speed Triple. Any good Triumph mechanics in the Las Vegas area?

Me, well twice a year I'm in Vegas and looking at relocating to Nevada with the Triumph business as soon as we sell up in Spain and the UK.

BTW welcome to the site. Speed Triple is loads of fun, ST is a perfect do it all bike.

Welcome! Pat Clark is the designated dealership in Vegas. It's on E. Sahara. Either bike will thrill you.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been to Pat Clarks, nice guys and some nice bikes! Unfortunately it seems the economy is taking its toll on another Triumph dealer.

Pat clark closing

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble out there. I was at the cycle shop on pecos, between patrick lane and sunset and they told me that pat clark is shutting down their bike biz.
Best call them before you go there. Think they are keeping the racing end open but general market stuff may be gone on or after december.
Just sayin'

I just cleaned out my oil "filter" on my 71 tr 6 tiger. It is just a screen actually. I was wondering if anyone out there in triumpspace knows a way to flush the oil in frame style out so as to get all the crap out of the system without damaging any internals? What solvent my be used for a flush?
I read the forum on oil usage and am now more confused than before. Has anyone used "belray" motorcycle oil in this type of application?

Hey Dom! You may want to ask in the Classic and Vintage forums.
