Smile Now then!

Hello to all fellow Triumph owners. I live in north Lancashire in England. I have a 2005 Bonnie in orange and white which I've had since January 2010. I also have a Honda VFR750FT, so I couldn't have two different bikes, but both are cool for different reasons.

I may as well ask a question straight away. I've put some new 'silencers' on my Bonnie. They're a lot louder than the standard ones that were fitted, so that's good! When I decelerate or change up gears whilst wringing it's neck (a little bit), the silencer end backfires a little. It didn't do this with the standard pipes. I presume the mixture through the carbs is a little too rich, so it's just a case of rejetting them? I've heard it is simple enough to do this.

Otherwise, it is running and sounds great.

Thanks, Mark.

Welcome Mark! You should ask in the Twins or Twins Technical Talk forums. Lots of answers a keystroke or two away! Enjoy!
