Smile I've gone and bought a Triumph!

Hi all,

After having had a load of Japanese bikes and an Italian mistress... a Guzzi.

I have gone and bought a low mileage 2007 Triumph Tiger 1050. Really pleased with the bike as it has plenty of power, stable, comfortable and clean.... Well it was because since I picked it up there has been pretty much non-stop rain. Especially irritating as I have stopped commuting to work on the train to use the bike all-weathers... great!

This is my first experience of a british bike, sorry but I cut my teeth on RD350LC's and the like. However so far I am really impressed. The Guzzi was a deliberate move to get away from sports bikes, mainly due to age and a persitent neck problem... Now I have the Tiger I have the best of both worlds.

I am keen to get a bit more involved in the bike than just jumping on and riding to work or doing a bit of touring. All though so far I seem to be opening my wallet far too frequently, adding accesories and updating my kit...

Any hoo. That's me.

Who said it could rain?

Welcome Airwar! No need to apologize for the other bikes; they had two wheels, right?

Hope the rain ends soon!

I won't stop riding because you tell me about someone who died in an accident, just as I won't stop eating because someone died of e.coli.

Welcome Airwar! Wallets are meant to be thin when you own bikes. A thick wallet is overrated anyway.
