Trent the owner was a real cool guy.
No I didn't take him up on it. Timing wasn't right.

Took it for a nice afternoon/evening ride up the coast with a friend...

His Ninja ZX-14 made my bike look positively tiny!

Man, I would love to ride an FZ-07R on the track! Beautiful!

BTW, I highly recommend a Baxley Sport Chock for transporting your bike in the back of a pickup. Been one of my favorite things ever purchased for motorcycling. Makes the bike so secure and saves a lot of time and grief. I also use it all the time in the garage to stand the bike up. Saves space and is easier to use than a rear stand.

HT Moto tank pads were installed on the ST3. Had Tech Spec before which were okay. I really wanted something that would cover the entire side including the overhang, and I've only heard good things about the HT Moto.

Went to Apex Manufacturing and they made the template, cut the material, and installed it for just $40 total. Great deal. And a trip there always lets me drool over the sweet track/race bikes they have in their garage. Saw a 2017 R6 blue with the works. Gorgeous.

Changed the fork oil, mounted a new front tire, changed the sprockets and drive chain. Washed the bike and went for a ride. The white grease they put on new chains -- that I thought I'd done a pretty good job of washing off -- spattered all over the place.

It was Sunday, but, having just treated it to a complete suspension and brake servicing, took my '14 StripleR out to Pacific Raceways for a 2-Fast track day. Lordy, I needed that! Also, got a stern reminder that I really need to get back into a good fitness routine!

Treated mine to a new headstock stand - much easier and safer than the fork stand I was using before...
