Street 765 Seat Options

Have any one of found any aftermarket seat options for the 765?

Will the Daytona seats by any chance fit the new 765 model?

I recently did finished all +400 miles of Blue Ridge Pkway in a day and my ass was killing me. The next day I put down another +400 miles of just pure highway/interstate riding. I had to peel myself off the bike after the second day.

I know the RS is not a touring bike obviously but a 3 day weekend trips should not be this painful haha

The stock seat is pretty comfortable for a full day of riding but anything more than that and then it becomes a nightmare... just need some options to make my ass happy

I second the padded shorts, I have the bicycle shorts and the padded riding shorts (moto-skiveez), and they do mitigate that discomfort, the moto-skiveez are better for me since the padding is a little more broad since they are meant for a motorcycle seat. They won’t make your butt feel like it’s sitting on an angelic pillow of heaven, but they do take off the edge of the butt numbness. It’s certainly an easier and cheaper thing to try than getting a new seat which may or may not help.

I wear cycle shorts and they do help but it is still not hugely comfortable.

I just ordered this gel pack so am hoping that helps. They also do a very nice looking seat cover but I am not decided about that yet.

Checked out the install video for that gel, looks easy to mess up. Interested in how it goes.

I did 400 miles yesterday and used my Alaska leathers sheepskin. Their pillion model fits our seat perfectly. It doesnít make the seat all day comfortable but it definitely helps. Really simple to take on and off as well.

I seriously can't wait until the Daytona 765 comes out. Maybe then we will get more aftermarket support.

I was looking at the Saddleman 13-19 seats for the Daytona and they looked pretty interesting. I would definitely give them a try.

I am not a fan of hacking up my OEM seat to put in some gel pad. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I don't trust myself to do a nice enough job with reupholstering it again. Also I work in the moto industry, so with the employee discounting it just makes more sense for me to pick something up that is ready to go.

I watched it as well and agree it looks like a nightmare. So I do not plan to do it myself... there is a upholstery place near me, I am happy to pay them to do it for me. I am pretty handy with a wrench but that job smells of arts and crafts which I suck at!

I bought a used 765 seat off the internet that's in good shape. $50 bucks. I'm going to experiment with it. Not sure if I'll try gel or foam. I've had gel seats before and they get hot as hell in the summer!

After riding my '18 Ninja 650 with a stiff gel seat (stock), the 765 seat is like heaven. The 765 seat angle/slope gets me though.
