Auto blipper anyone?

When is Triumph going to release the auto blipper for the 765?? So sad watching all of the new Tigers and Speed Triples with them and here we are on these beautiful capable little machines having to manually rev-match like peasants

What about cruise control?! I can't wait to kick that on and get complacent during my daily commute! It'll be like teleportation.

In essence this is a plea for more information haha Maybe someone on here knows more?

Do you mean for “quick shifting” down through the gears? Also, I agree cruise control is a missing feature

Yes, where the computer calculates what rpm the engine (transmission input shaft speed) needs to be at to match the transmission ouput shaft speed for smooth clutchless downshifts.

As someone with no left hand, it would greatly improve my riding experience!
Surely there is bugger all required in terms of extra hardware, just the appropriate load-cell in the shift linkage? Then just a wee bit of logic added to the ECU, right?

It seems so. Tiger and speed got one, so I reckon a retrofit and some ecu chnages would do the job.

https://m.ebay.com/itm/Pro-Shift-PS2...-/253035240564

Designed and manufactured in the UK with specific aim to offer the professional or club rider all of the benefits of high tech motorsport at affordable prices.

Adding to the great success of the multiple championship winning PS2 and now incorporating the additional time adjustable Ignition Ramping “R” facility that provides fully adjustable Ignition or Fuel Injection Ramping back on after a Flatshift to give the smoothest most vehicle friendly gearshifting yet, easily tunable to suit individual riding styles, allied to the proven Auto-Blip Downshifting output the PS2-R is a big step forward in affordable high specification gearshifting technology.

Compatible with virtually any sequentially geared engine, please read on for a little more in depth description about the gearshifting system and its capabilities.

All systems provided with ergonomically designed handlebar switchgears featuring either two buttons behind the bar or our newer “upshift” button at the front and “downshift” button behind the bar system for rider convenience.

The all new Pro-Shift PS2-R System provides the option of fully time adjustable "flat" upshifting using the ignition or fuel injection cut module incorporated into the solid state Gearshift Control Unit (GCU).

Offering typical ignition cut times of around 20mS (milliseconds) which we believe to be the fastest commercially available, further to this if the vehicle is fitted with a high specification after market ignition then gear specific graduated ignition or fuel injection cuts can be available.

The characteristics of our electronic operation are such that when initiating a gearshift the gearshift actuator delivers a rising power curve from its rest position (unlike pneumatic or hydraulic systems) this is ideally suited to dog gearbox gearshifting because it is mechanically sympathetic and by its nature achieves compliance with the gears whilst gearshifting, this gives the highly desirable benefit of prolonging gearbox life. The nature of a solenoid actuated gearshifting systems is that they exhibit built in safety features, for example if the downshift paddle is pulled whilst accelerating the PS2-R System will not downshift as the initial low power gearshift start up would not to pull an engaged gearbox "dog" out of gear whilst loaded.

The system’s electronic operation with only one moving part provides inherent reliability and with relatively simple installation it is ideally suited to racing vehicle applications, another critical advantage it holds over air systems is that it does not produce water when used and is therefore virtually maintenance free.

With regard to downshifting, the Pro-Shift PS2-R Gearshift Control Unit (GCU) also features a time adjustable downshift "blipper" output along with a downshift delay timer, if used in conjunction with either of our downshift blippers, this will allow seamless clutchless downshifting that can be fine tuned to suit any engine/gearbox combination, throttle openings are easily adjustable to match differing downshifting requirements.

DOWNSHIFT BLIPPER OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR EITHER CABLE OPERATED OR DRIVE BY WIRE (DBW) ELECTRONIC THROTTLES using either our remote cable downshift-blippers or our electronic throttle signaling modules.

I'm just keeping fingers crossed that Triumph will have an offering in the near future.
