Luggage Options for Street Triple 765

I want to add some luggage capacity to my RS, and I'd like hardcases for their lockability and waterproofing–I've used soft bags in the past. Unfortunately, nobody quite seems to make a touring hardcase luggage setup for the 765. In scouring for one, I've found quite a few luggage options, which I figured I'd post here for anyone else interested. If you know of any more (existing or rumored), please post!

I believe all of these options will require either drilling rear plastics to access mounting holes, or purchasing the Triumph Passenger Grab Rails (A9758174), which should include a pre-drilled undertray. (install instructions)

Luggage Options

Givi: 6412FZ top rack and ST601 Multilock sidebags

Givi has a hard top case and "thermoformed" side bag setup. Probably the closest thing to a full hardcase setup right now?

Hepco & Becker Sportrack top rack and C-Bow side racks

The Hepco&Becker Sportrack supports a hard topcase, but, oddly, replaces the pillion seat. 5kg limit.

The C-Bow racks are normally for softbags only, but the the Orbits are lockable hardcases--the only such option I know for the RS. 3kg limit per side. Unfortunately, the loss of the pillion seat to also have a topcase is hard to take.

Kappa Rear rack for Monolock/Monokey cases and "Soft bag" holder

The rear rack appears to support a hard topcase with a 6kg limit. I can't find any pictures of the soft bag holder, but I assume it's similar to other ones on the market.

Kenma Ventura

The Ventura system includs side soft pannier racks and racks for soft top bags (with an option for a hard topcase). The topcase can be mounted 'backward' over the pillion seat or outward behind the seat.

Renntec Carrier

I believe Renntec's Carrier will fit their Renntec 28L topbox (or any soft top bag). The internet has evidence that a 48L topbox once existed, but it appears to no longer be sold. They appear to carry no sidecase options.

SW-Motech Alu-Rack and Blaze H saddlebags

It's surprisingly hard to find information on these. For the ALU-Rack, nobody is selling them for the 765, but a comment on Revzilla claims it's possible.

There aren't many dealers selling the Blaze specifically for the 765 either, but SW-Motech says they should fit.

Potentially Compatible Street Triple 675 options

Givi sells the Easylock Saddlebags for the 675. No idea if they'd fit a 765.

The 675 luggage option I wish the 765 had is the Fehling Topcase Carrier and Case Holder. I emailed them a few months ago and they said they had no plans to make a version for the 765. I've never found a U.S. distributor, but there's a U.K. one here:

The SW-Motech Alu Rack does fit the 765. I have fitted one with the adaptor plate for a Givi top box that attaches with 1/4 turn Cam Locs.

The SW-Motech Blaze saddlebags fit the 765 as well, I installed these recently. Perfect for those who do occasional touring and don't want to have huge metal things handing off their bike. They come with drybags to protect the inside from moisture.

thanks. your bike looks almost the same as mine ;-) sweet.

btw both Ventura and rennetec offer more weight limit than givi fittings (do not rember exactly but they offered more, like 1 or 2 kg). it seemed to me moneywise rennetec was better value than ventura (which is pretty hefty when buying entire set). do not know the givi details, but they are moslty reasonably priced.

SW motech alu rack is known to cause damage to subframe.

oyster bags of hepco becker are padlock lockable.

Givis easylock was confirmed in other posts not to fit 765.

Tubi,

You said "SW Motech alu rack is known to cause damage to subframe." I have not heard this on Street Triples do you have details ?

Speed Triples have had issues but the rack, attachment and sub frame are all completely different.

I just heard from Moto Machines, the US importer for Hepco & Becker, that the 765 C-Bow mounts should be available by the end of March.
