R&G Tail Tidy

Hi

I'm fitting the R&G tail tidy to my 2011 (face-lifted) ST 1050. It's a very straight forward process other than the connector for the rear light, which should pass through the hole in the tail tidy before being reconnected. Mine doesn't fit through the hole. Not sure if it's because it is the later model or whether the connector has to be removed from the cable (if that's possible) before passing through the hole. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Cheers,
David

On mine (2010ST) it was a tight fit but it squeezed in eventually, if I recall correctly.

Yes, same with mine. It was a tight fit but I was able to push it through. Just have to manipulate it a little bit. I have the same R&G Tail Tidy.

Many thanks, Both.

Adjusted my angle of attack and all good now. The box to cover the cables was a pig to fit too but looking good

Ya, I really had to roll up the wires in a little ball to get the cover to fit over them. They could have made the box a tad bit bigger, but it worked out.
