Stents

Strents are a way to a whole lot more life. I got my 6 14 years ago and haven't looked back. If you get a little angry or depressed just think of me and the amount of miles I've done in those 14 years. All the best Bob

I'm not angry or depressed but I wouldn't mind a bowl of pipe tobacco!

Finally got to fully bleed the brakes on the GT with my little Apex tablet and TuneECU for Android.
Now I have a cell phone, a lap top and a tablet. Kind of ridiculous but that's the way it ended up.

I'm pretty sure that fluid has been in there since 2011 so it was well overdue.

Steve, I assume you're using a bluetooth adapter for your TuneECU work? What adapter are you using? I need to move to bluetooth due to my Speedy.

I probably need an intervention because of the bikes that keep 'following' me home. Current garage:
2001 Daytona 955i, 2 yes two, 2003 Sprint 955i STs (spouse rides one), 2016 Speed Triple, 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200R

Here is what I've got (thanks to DEcosse, as always):
Acer Iconia One 10 MediaTek tablet
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Iconia...72.m2749.l2649

TuneECU Android APP from google
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...neecu&hl=en_US

Otg Cable for Android
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Otg-Cable-F...72.m2749.l2649

and then I just hook that crap up to the same cable I used for my laptop version of TuneECU and then I can get the ABS solenoid to buzzzzz and shoot out a little fluid.
I did that a couple of times and then just continued bleeding the brakes as normal.

That's unfortunate. I hope the damage wasn't too severe.

2002 Sprint RS: TOR silencer, LSL bars, Laminar lip, factory tail rack with Givi top box, custom painted OEM panniers (one of 'em anyway - sad story), M-Factory lowered pegs, Penske shock. Thanks for all the help, Kit!

I think that riding with MileHighScottie would cause me to become sad and depressed.

I spent the three-day weekend resuscitating/restoring/salvaging a 2002 Aprilia Caponord a friend bought about 7 years ago, from a guy who had it in storage in Key West after Lord knows how many years.

Let's just say that, if you told me the bike had been submerged, I'd believe you. All the steel bits are Red. Well, they were. All the fluids were nasty, especially the three gallons of whatever was in the fuel tank.

The clutch reservoir had dust in it. I still don't have the clutch working right - I think another bleed is in order. You can see the air inside the tires through the dry cracking.

I will tell you, unlike the Triumphs, it makes a difference which hose is the pressure side on the fuel rail.

And the bike had a magnificently overdone Evaporative Recovery System. Except the tubing they used has literally crumbled to dust. So, two vacuum port caps, and I think I'm good. Engine sounds right 'sporty'!

Well he didn't cut me even 1mph of slack, so it was a 20mph over violation. 4pts, and 255 bucks donated to the revenue agency
