I have the same issue with the right hand, and even for short rides. Interested to know what grips you used... if they help/work.

How much weight are you putting on your wrists?

I put gel grips on my S4 and it helped some but I find that I don't get numb hands if I'm supporting myself well.

I probably need an intervention because of the bikes that keep 'following' me home. Current garage:
2001 Daytona 955i, 2 yes two, 2003 Sprint 955i STs (spouse rides one), 2016 Speed Triple, 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200R

Pulled and dropped the front rim off to have new bearings pressed in. Thanks to whoever shared the link to the FJR forum, where the plans for the black pipe support were posted!

Ultimately an LSL setup. My RS came with the LSL bars installed and they're great. Well made, handsome, and more upright position.

2002 Sprint RS: TOR silencer, LSL bars, Laminar lip, factory tail rack with Givi top box, custom painted OEM panniers (one of 'em anyway - sad story), M-Factory lowered pegs, Penske shock. Thanks for all the help, Kit!

Grip puppies and risers did it for me.

Meow Meow Grips

I havent ridden far enough to know if they work but I can't see them doing much. Being as I don't get a numb hand over 130kl/h I assume its (a) the vibe is different although it was the same on my ST as GT and the gearing is different, (B) you tend to lean forward more at speed doing two things , slightly bending your elbows and inadvertently taking weight off your hands. I have noticed that if you sit forward and bend the elbows in or out the numbness goes at normal speed which makes me believe that it's more to do with bar position that vibration. Re Baby Cat Grips: they feel good to ride with although spongy feeling, will let you know when I've ridden somewhere. When fitting them here's a tip, put soapy water on the existing grips, leave bar end weights on and hold the new wet grips in a dry cloth or towel and push them on, don't use bare hands as they are too slippery. Today also fitted Crash Bungs. Bob
