What is this connector for?

I just got an 07 S3 and found this wire disconnected and zip tied under the fuel tank next to the rear brake paddle. Any idea what it is or goes to? The bike runs strong.

Looks like a rear brake pressure switch. Does your brake peddle activate the brake lamp?

does not look like an 02 sensor, but that's why I'm asking.
